My first ever Chinese New Year in Madison! This is my first time which I wasn't celebrating it back in my hometown Sandakan! How I miss my dearest Sandakan!
Well, my friends and I here were trying our best to make the celebration here as merrier as in Malaysia! Although, there's a HUGE GAP in between the two celebrations, we still feel like we were at home celebrating the first day of TIGER year!
Let us start with our Chinese New Year Eve reunion dinner! Without pampering from my mummy, I have to cook for the reunion dinner!
Ignore my hairstyle as I just woke up from my sweet dreams! Holding to fat chickens!
Going to deep fry two obviously NOT FRESH of unknown FISHES!

Presshouse 302 as the organizer of the Reunion dinner, we were to prepare chicken, duck, fish, soup and 8 CUPS OF RICE! 8 CUPS OF RICE! Can you believe that?
I was thinking to conduct a praying ceremony with this steamed chicken! Smooth steamed chicken! lol
And I have the girls to help me cutting the chicken into pieces!

Since, our freezer was fully filled with our grocery stuffs, we have no change but putting all our beverages outside to let it cool down! This is the benefits of winter season!
After the preparation, it is time for reunion dinner!
We invited juniors and SOME Seniors (lol) to the dinner, each contributes desserts and dishes...

After our scrumptious home cooked dinner, we played beer pong!

That is why my team lost and we have finish up all the liquor!
We proceed to another drinking game by using poker cards!
May, in the end, was the first one getting drunk!

I did not play till the end because I need to start cooking SPRING ONION BEEF for our Chinese New Year Celebration organized by our very own MSA! By the way, my friends and I cooked till 4 am and woke up at 7 the next morning reheating the food again!

In a nutshell, the celebration was a blast ( even though we sang our very own NEGARAKU) ! A round of applause to our seniors and committee members!
After the celebration, we went to Lake Mendota to visit teh Statue of Liberty ( The FAke one)

The next morning, I recieved a call from parents telling me that my Sandakan friends were in my house! What a surprise! I skyped with them and chit chatted for a while!
I still look good even though I just woke up!

Thanks guys! I really miss everyone single one of you so so so much! How I wish I could be there celebrating with you guys! Do remember me okay? Happy Chinese New year and may all the good lucks drive all the bad luck away!
