My Virgin Fishing Trip!

Last Saturday, I should have gone for a football game! However, I went for my virgin fishing trip instead! I'm still glad that the badgers have won another match against Michigan! I heard that the badgers lost to Michigan last year, but we came back with the score 40 something over 20 something! (Sorry about the confusion of the scores!)

Let's start with my fishing trip! My dad might be mad when he found out that I went fishing. I remember when he asked me to hoop on his boat for over ten years! But, I never follow his wish! Sorry daddy!

Met up with Boon Lee, Sam, Deb and K.C. at Memorial Union! Hui Chin and I were a little bit late, sorry for that!

After seeing a few road kills and missing the junction, we finally arrived at Century Trout Farm!

We were warmly welcomed by Goofy the friendliest dog!

We were really excited to become fishers! Once we stepped on trout's farm, we walked directly to the pond!

Again, we were welcomed by two beautiful white swans! Though they were pretty, they weren't friendly at all! Don't go too close to them as they will break your fingers! lol

Before we started to fish the fishy! We set up table for our fishy picnic.....

Mark, who is the owner of the farm, came with his green truck which excites me! Guess what, I did not drive the truck! I would want to do so if I could!

Mark explained the ways in becoming a fisher!

Let's start Kia Tzun's fishing lesson!

1st: Use worms as your baits!

2nd: Break them into three or more parts (So that you can make more baits! Cheapskate!)

3rd: Hook your baits!

4rd: Throw it out to the pond and patiently wait for the STUPID fish to get hooked!

5th: If you're lucky enough, you will get to catch a fish in just a few seconds!

6th: The most disgusting and violence part of fishing is to unhook the fish! You will need to pull it out if the hook is way inside the fishy's body! EWWWWWWWW

7th: Then, put the fishy into a pail which is filled with water!

8th: The last step, clean the inert part of the fishy and you're ready to cook it!

I really need to thank Deb for frying the fishy! It tasted really good!

We had other dishes as well, the vegetable curry, Mexican fried rice, dumplings, potatoes salad, and of course the fresh fried fishy!

After having such wonderful lunch! It was time for cam whoring!

I found this petite tree interesting! It's like a small size of Christmas tree!

Then, I found a really gargantuan one!

Besides, dogs, cats and swans! They have horses as well!

Boon Lee Fam caught three fishes ( She caught her first one after 8 attempts!)

I had a good time fishing in Fall season which the weather was just nice! Thanks Boon Lee Fam for inviting me for the trip! Thanks Deb for the dishes and the ride! And thanks Max for cleaning the fishes and teaching us ways to fish!

Good News And Bad News!

This entry will be a short one!

The good news is

I don't have to take CBE 255, which is a computer programming course, anymore!

I really need to thank my advisor so so much for being super duper helpful!

The BAD news is

I'm having three midterms next week! I could hardly breath right now! For the first time, stress conquers me! Try my hardest to be optimistic but whenever I get my results from my test, I'm torn apart! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, if I can just shout at someone!

Halloween! Freak Fest at Mad City!

Halloween 2009 at Mad City! Before I start writing my blog, let me introduce the history of Halloween. The name Halloween is a short way of saying All Hallow's Eve, the night before All Saints' Day. The rest of the history, you guys can just google it!

Can't wait to share my eye opening Halloween experiences here in Madison.

First Station: The Haunted House!

Unlike Haunted Houses in Malaysia, Haunted House in Madison is far better even though it was organized by college students. The make up, environment, theme, and the most importantly -- GHOST-- are unbeatable! I did not realize that I can take pictures of it! Therefore, I could only manage to take some of it! (Its actually two pictures!)

The theme was the crazy laboratory of H1N1!

Poor thing, she was sacrificed for the sake of Haman's health!

The highlight: Freak Fest at Mad Town 2009!

The annual Freak Fest had finally come, thank goodness! Before coming to the States, I heard rumors from the seniors about the craziness things happened in this event!

Everyone is expected to dress up for this event! Well, in such a hurry, I couldn't find a suitable costume for myself. Thus, I decided to put some make up on my face!

And here's how the story goes..................

A handsome, hot young man was found dead in his house.....

He was murdered by his EVIL HOUSEMATE who envies his prettiness and 'handsomeness'!

You can see his evil housemate laughing after killing this poor young man.

When this young was still alive, he loved party! Even though, he's dead, he still wanna go for party!

Freak Fest 2009! You won't miss it even if your dead!

Next, we have the teenage mutant ninja turtles! I'm not sure if they are still in their teens!

I don't have Play Station, I don't have Nintendo Wii! But I still like Super Mario!

I met Ron and Harry, they were looking for Professor Dumbledore.....

Here he is! He's just too magical! Even when I took a picture with him, the background just gone blur!

With just one click, Professor Dumbledore transformed into a mushroom man! (I love this costume!)

With another click, the mushroom man became the President of the United States - Obama!

We should have a pause on magical world, let us move on to the cartoons and movies world!

Last Friday, I had my very first homecoming party at Wisconsin.

Glad to hear that Wisconsin Badger has won few matches........ They are having a match tomorrow! All I can say now is GO BADGER!

My long waited Chicago Trip has finally come! It was below one degree, and I walked up to the bus station to hoop on my 5 am bus to Chicago.

Arrived at Union Station around 8.30 am! I was sleeping deeply on the way to Chicago! Thanks for the bus driver for waking me up!

Met up with Julius who came all the way from Purdue......

While we were waiting for friends from Indiana, we perambulated around Chicago.....

My first time celebrating Raya and Mooncake festival in Madison.

Thought it will be lonely for this festivals due to the absent of my family and friends. However, I managed to make my life here as interesting as possible!

Shopping Trip with a scrumptious lunch!

It was mooncake festival, I decided to threat myself better ! I went shopping and had a really fine lunch at Chilis!

I was wondering how different Chilis in Madison in comparison to Chilis in Malaysia! They should serve the same dishes! I was hoping to get my all time favorite dish - Lamb Shoulder serve with mouth watering Mash Potatoes.

Sadly, I did not see lamb Shoulder in the menu! I ordered Fried Steak since I have never tried this before!

I was just lucky to get extra fries because the waiter actually made an mistake in my orders!

In Malaysia, My friend and I always order Chocolate Molten Cake for dessert! This time here in Madison, I ordered White chocolate which we can't get in Malaysia! Taste heavenly!

I need to go shopping once again to get my winter clothing! Seriously! I need winter clothing!

Mooncake Festival!

I seriously miss my mum cook for sure! Back in Malaysia, my mum will cook a full table of delicious food to celebrate mooncake Festival! Then, we will perform our family tradition which is performing a virtual praying ceremony for the Moon! Then it will be my favorite time - playing lantern! Kids will play with their lantern and adults will grab their chance to chit chat with each other.

In Madison, I won't have the luxury life anymore! I won't get my food in just a moan of hunger!

However, thanks to senior! I felt like home during the celebration!

When was my last post again? May 18??? Sorry for such a LATE LATE post!

With much consideration, I believe all of my friends will understand how busy I was for the past few months. For now, I'm sure I'll have a long one for this time. Hmm...... where should I start? There are just zillions of happening events occurred and it will be hard for me to state out every single thing! Let's start with the most significant event.......

On 21st of August, I faced a turn of my life. The day had finally come.......

Leaving my home, leaving my parents, leaving my family, leaving my friends and leaving all the great fun have weaken me thoroughly. Not being pessimist here, but this sort of sour feeling will only arise when you're in the situation.

Before I left Sandakan, Vivian came back just in time! We met at the airport and hang along for a while because I was going to board in just ten minutes! Poor thing, she just CRIED! Yupe, I said it out again! wuahahahahahah

Before I left Kualu Lumpur, I got the chance to meet my cousin: Susan see san! wuahahahaha

Thanks Yapp, Ade, Hing, Jaye and Alex for sending me off! You guys are forever my besties!

Thanks for the shoe as well! Although, it implies you guys really want me to go as soon as possible!

Next up, My parents and younger brother! I will be missing my daddy and mummy a lot for sure! Again, my mum cried !

Five us were flying to Madison, Wisconsin and Obviously, I was the only Guy!

12 freaking hours later.............................

At last, we arrived at not United States but Frankfurt, Germany. Wow, I have never thought of going or even standing on the ground of Germany!

Do Germans gamble a lot? My first time seeing a Casino in an International Airport! Interesting!

After staying 5 short hours at Frankfurt, off we go to the Chicago, United States.

Instead of taking MAS, we took United Airlines! OMG, their seats are much MUCH MUCH spacious than MAS's seats. In addition, they kept on offering food and drinks unlike MAS who will only give (With Black Faces) when you ask for it!

Since Hui Chin and I share the same surname, we always get to sit together! The Wong's Power!

Well guys, I did not take any pictures at Chicago Airport because all of us were in a rush, rushing for our next flight to Madison, Wisconsin.

FINALLY, I arrived at Madison Wisconsin! From the airport, we went straight to our apartment to have a good sleep.

The next morning after a good sleep, we went out perambulating around the town area.....

We were thinking and pondering deeply of what to have for our very FIRST breakfast at Madison!

At last, we decided to try Bagels....

After a hectic day walking around campus, it is time for dinner!

After dinner, it is time to go out of the room and experience the environment of UW - party school!

Govind and I wenr Overture hall to watch some performances, and the funniest one would be the hypnotising show! I laughed out loud till everyone looked and stared at me~

Then, we went to watch some sexy and Hot dance! the Hawaiian dance......

Some guys were asked to joined the dancer shaking their butts!

Next up: Memorial unioin! There were all sorts of activities going on..... icluding karoake Session!

After listening to all these 'noises' ( Joking ), we decided to hop on a free boat riding around Lake Mendota.

After all the orientation and activities.............

I am now officially a Badger and I'm an UW Undergraduate Student.....

And the most important thing is------------ I'm in the United States...... wow
